Escher

Paid a visit to the EPOCH event on Opening Day. Unfortunately the Clowning part was so laggy, I barely could stay inworld, let alone shop. The other areas, Beast, and Art of Escher were easily navigated though. There was some fabulous things to be had, and I bought several items. Overall I was impressed with the quality of the items for sale, and the price was generally reasonable also.

At The Art of Escher, this outfit really grabbed my attention. The colour was a bit dark grey rather than true black, but that was easily fixed as the whole outfit is modifiable.

The pants especially caught my eye with their strong, very escher-esque lines. Just a note, they are mostly transparent, except for the black lines, so if you are very modest, you may want to put something under them.

The lines of the jacket make a great contrast to the pants, and make for a smooth silhouette, that looks as good from the front, back, and side view. I teamed the outfit with a fabulous almost white skin with just a hint of colour on the eyes and cheeks from Glam Affair. And for hair, I chose a great asymmetrical updo from Exile.

Been awhile....

Hi, been awhile since I updated. And boy, what an up and down time it has been.
Just after New Year, I had to give up the island I had been renting for 2 1/2 years in SL, and find somewhere new to live. That turned out to be a disaster, and was on the move again just 3 weeks later to a lovely 1/6th island sim. I still miss my island though as I am a mad keen landscaper. Just as we moved to the new place in SL, RL took a turn for the worse when I had 2 teeth out that went horribly wrong, and ended up on Oxycodone, and 3 different types of antibiotics.

Anyway, enough of that, let's get down to what I'm here for.....SL Fashion.
Like many people I was very sad to see one of my favourite stores "Sweetest Goodbye" close it's doors. So imagine my delight when I heard that Morphine Janick had opened a new shop called "monso" dedicated to making mesh product.
Her very first release under the "monso" label was these fabulous Overalls.

I love these! They move so fluidly as you move, and sit so well on the body. Totally ideal for the hard working girl on a dirty job like construction.

There is 3 different shades, I chose Dark Blue. And in 5 different sizes, with a separate top/bottom so you can get a perfect fit. Ideal for climbing tall fences to explore old, abandoned houses.

If I Were A Rich Girl

I'd choose a suitably elegant and luxurious dress, such as this gorgeous group gift from Purple Moon. Then I would do a day of shopping at the best stores,  stopping to pose for photos as I shopped, and of course I would never carry a parcel. I'd have the stores send them on.

Stopping to pose in the entrance hall of my well appointed, Designer home as I make my way inside.

I would make my way up my sumptuous staircase to unpack my goodies, and freshen up for a night of fine dining and dancing.

World's End Garden

I was quietly relaxing when an incoming group notice caught my eye. A new release from World's End Garden!
Better than that though, it was just not one new release it was several.
And a new location.

I chose this one to blog first as it was one of 3 new releases to highlight her new location.
And is it stunning! As always, Lucia's attention to detail and her lush textures shine through.

Decorating the Tree

As Xmas gets closer, I decided that it was time to get that tree decorated!
The baubles and tinsel done, it was time for the finishing touches. The Star.

With that done Helli looks at all the work she has done getting ready for this year's Xmas festivities. Then unabashedly poses with an exaggerated Ta-Da.

That all done, Helli gets ready to pack up the unused ornaments, and then wait for her partner to get home so she can show off her decorating skills.

Santa Baby
