Like a Feather in the Breeze

This lovely eye-catching gown by AZUL was originally made for the Miss SL pageant and worn by Miss SL Indonesia. It is a glorious concoction of satin, flowers down the bodice, a full train, and feathers. Lots of feathers. It features a low cut neckline, scooped back, and long bell sleeves. Wearing it, one cannot help but feel totally feminine and beautiful.

There are more and more mesh heads coming onto the market, this one made by Genesis Lab has a nice shape to it, heavy well shaped brows, and a nicely shaped mouth. It's from a gacha and it's available at this round of Kustom 9. Be aware though that you can only wear skin appliers with the Blinking rare (shown here).
This very pretty skin shown is by Lumae, and comes with appliers for almost anything mesh body/head related. This was a 75L Sunday skin, and while I couldn't find this exact skin in her shop now, there is one that is very similar with slightly different make-up, and still only 75L (but also could be short-lived so you'd better hurry!)

This cheeky, sexy, almost retro hairstyle by Tukinowaguma is an incredibly versatile must have, and is available at On9. The necklace by Empyrean Forge has 6 different gemstone options, and is available at Shiny Shabby.

The Forest of Dreams?

A few things I want to show today, first up is these very sexy shorts and matching top available at the Black Fashion Fair until May 1st...so you'd better run. As always with Zibska's creations they both come with a colour change HUD giving several options. For the coming Summer these are a don't miss!
I teamed the shorts up with a very lovely open cage-style overskirt that I spotted at the Black Fashion Fair from a new-to-me designer "DirtyStories". The flower is very detailed and also colour-change.

I have to say how great is this umbrella? At first I thought it a little creepy with the doll parts hanging from the umbrella, but as I've travelled around with it the last few days I've grown VERY fond of it. It was the mystery rare prize for Remarkable Oblivion at the TAG Gacha. The Gacha ends today so be quick if you want a chance at winning it (or many other really fabulous items).

The look was pulled together with these really cool bracelets (part of a set) from Zibska and available at On9 until May 5th. As always there is a bunch of colour change options. This fun and versatile hair is from Olive, and is available at the Kawaii Project until May 15th. Which by the way if you've never checked out the Kawaii Project, you really should.

She's so unusual

There has been some very interesting new releases at events lately. Things that are a step away from the norm, which really IS just my style.
For example we have this very cool and spectacular dress from Zibska at "The Instruments" that features goats...yes you read correctly. Goats. Now as a Capricorn, I have an affinity for goats, so this is pure love :)

Speaking of unusual, look at these absolutely amazing shoes from Azoury! Aren't they just fabulous. Made exclusively to work with the "Eve" pointy feet. Yes another mesh body. Now while Eve has a couple of small flaws (as do all the mesh bodies), it really is very lovely. A very big bonus with it is that it comes standard in two body types: slender, and curvy, so it will work no matter which body type is your preference. It also works with Omega appliers, and SLINK feet.

As a counter balance to the very eyecatching "Davina" headpiece that is part of the Zibska outfit, I chose to add this very lovely "earmuff" from Azoury available at ON9 (which used to be called L'accessoires). With a definite asian influence these earmuffs are versatile enough to wear with many different fashion styles.
I chose this necklace from Mandala that is available at Uber as it echoes many of the design motifs from the rest of my ensemble with it's sweeping lines, fans, and circles. The last piece I want to mention is the eyeshadow, from some-one that is new to me...SlackGirl. Available at "The Make-over Room" it really is an eye-catching design. All her make-ups are well worth taking the time out to look at.
