Santa Girl

Quick explanation into why I don't blog much any more.
Around 18 months ago I inexplicably went into chronic Atrial Fibrillation. Lots of tests later, it was found that my lungs weren't doing so well after lifelong asthma, and many serious bouts of bronchitis and pneumonia. I was put on a bunch of medications which then caused me to get medically induced diabetes a few months later. Fast forward another few months and I got sick with very severe Bronchial Pneumonia which saw me hospitalised for over a month. The damage to my already badly damaged lungs was serious. So serious it has me now in Asthma/Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (ACOS), which in turn has exacerbated my heart and also put me into Congestive Cardiac Failure (CCF).  The combination of these two and the Diabetes has left me in extremely poor health, with frequent hospital admissions.

 I'm not a particularly Christmassy type girl but there has been a few Christmas things that have caught my eye so far this year. One of them being this very cute Santa Girl outfit that is a gacha at The Chapter Four this round. There is six colours, two of which are rares, and only for Maitreya bodies.

The Showgirl

I really wanted to blog the very fabulous Andrina jewellery set from Zibska for We <3 Role-Play, but every look I tried just wasn't what I wanted, so it got put on hold a few times while I worked on other stuff. Then I ended up with almost a week in hospital with acute Appendicitis. Coming home, I was sitting browsing Flickr and saw the amazing and beautiful Etoile headdress/mask by Terra d'ombrA and knew that was it. That was the look I was after.

From there everything easily slid into place, it was just a matter of finding the pieces in my inventory. Some were buried treasures like the pasties, and chain belt. Others like this delicious pale Isidora skin from Essences were still brand new this month (I liked the skin so much I even took off the mesh heads I have been wearing since I got back to SL late last year).

In bows like a Siren she calls to me

Today I'm featuring this stunning outfit by Zibska for the inaugural round of ReVamped. The top is a bandeau, almost covered at the front by a giant bow suspended from a thick chain around the neck. The skirt is actually form-hugging high waisted shorts, with a skirt attached made up entirely of bows. Each individual part is colour change, with the bows on the skirt having 2 separate areas of colour to enable two-tone. The whole creates a visually eye catching outfit that will turn heads wherever you go.

The lovely skin I am wearing is from Essences and available at The Gacha Garden. There is several skintones and make-up choices to pick from. The hair is from Tableau Vivant and is available at this current round of Collabor88.
