The Forest

Well after much unnecessary drama I finally got my computer back and working again. That it has taken over 3 months to get it 100% working, while it was still under warranty is beyond ridiculous. But we won't go there...
What I came to tell you about is a fabulous new monthly event called The Forest. It costs 1000L to join the group each month. But you are promised between 17-26 Designers every month. And if it is anything like July, that is an incredible bargain if you would wear/use most of the items. The other good thing is you can get to see what it is you will be getting before committing that 1000L. Personally I was thrilled with this month's offering with 2 full fatpacks of Appliers for Catwa heads, and the stunningly beautiful applier called "Gabriella" from Glam Affair that I am wearing here (also for Catwa). This applier comes in Polar tone only.

Also from The Forest is the lovely mid length slightly wavy hair called "Poca" that I am wearing by Pr!tty. This is also a full fatpack! Crowning the hair as a lovely counterpoint to the tones in my "Heather" dress made by Belle Epoque, and available at The Season's Story, is this gorgeous headdress (another fatpack) also at The Forest, and made by LODE, aptly called "Forest Beauty". Gracing my wrists are the delicate Faelyn bracelets by .random.Matter, again available at The Forest.
The decor is ionic's Stage-house, and Forest Speaker, and Nomad's Bright Headed Mannequins. Both are available at The Forest.

Finalising my look here is this very pretty lipstick from Zibska called Sing, and available at Shiny Shabby. The collar is by Cellar Door, and is called Dune. It comes in both unscripted, and Open Collar versions, and is available at We <3 Role-Play. Lastly is my fabulous sandals called Hyacinth, by Empire, and available at The Season's Story. Unicorn Grove

I fell instantly in love with the Unicorns in Half-Deer's Unicorn Story gacha at this month's The Arcade. So this is part one of two posts I am doing using them in my props. I have to say these are great, they have several different colours of mane, there is also a black version, and you can mirror them also. All through the pop-up menu.

A few things have caught my eye this month. First of them being the Pixicat "Karma" gacha at The Arcade. It has two lengths of dress, a short, and the long that I am wearing here. The version I played was the fitted one which gives both a Maitreya and Slink fitted dress. There is several colours in each style, and of course the rares, but if like me you only want a common, that is pretty easy to get.

Next up on my list of items to show you is this very pretty, and versatile "Mima" hair by Amacci, and available at Cosmopolitan. I love the short sassyness of this style, and how it perfectly frames the face. I was absolutely thrilled that one of the colour options was an almost exact match to the pink of my dress!
Last on the list is the "Violets" gacha by LODE at this month's The Chapter Four. The rares are flying owls! so that in itself makes it worth playing. But if owls don't tempt you, the fantastic flower eyebrows should. They are just so right for Spring. There is also two styles of head accessories, a crown style, and a wreath style. I'm wearing the crown style.

Camille - Join Hands for Nepal

On the 13th May a very special event will open for just 3 days. The event is Join Hands for Nepal. I know we are often asked to donate for charity causes, but this one is special. It is to help support the World Food Programme provide food for Nepal, which I am sure you know was totally devastated by a dreadful earthquake that killed over 8000 people, and left 2.8 million Nepalese displaced without ready access to even the most basics like food. And with another quake today, the situation is dire. I don't usually link to other people's blogs, but this is about the best summary of the event, with all relevant links I have found.

AZUL has contributed 3 outfits for the event, this gorgeous, head-turning blue gown named Camille is one of them.
