Santa Girl

Quick explanation into why I don't blog much any more.
Around 18 months ago I inexplicably went into chronic Atrial Fibrillation. Lots of tests later, it was found that my lungs weren't doing so well after lifelong asthma, and many serious bouts of bronchitis and pneumonia. I was put on a bunch of medications which then caused me to get medically induced diabetes a few months later. Fast forward another few months and I got sick with very severe Bronchial Pneumonia which saw me hospitalised for over a month. The damage to my already badly damaged lungs was serious. So serious it has me now in Asthma/Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (ACOS), which in turn has exacerbated my heart and also put me into Congestive Cardiac Failure (CCF).  The combination of these two and the Diabetes has left me in extremely poor health, with frequent hospital admissions.

 I'm not a particularly Christmassy type girl but there has been a few Christmas things that have caught my eye so far this year. One of them being this very cute Santa Girl outfit that is a gacha at The Chapter Four this round. There is six colours, two of which are rares, and only for Maitreya bodies.

Contemplation

It's been a long while since I've posted, mostly because I was away from SL for quite some time due to my failing health. I won't bore anyone with the details other than to say I have early stages respiratory failure due to complications. So sitting contemplating the direction my life may go, it seemed like a good title for a blog post. There has been a bunch of changes due to my health as far as SL goes, the main one being I no longer blog for anyone. Nor will I take on any commitment other than short stints, or single events.

This outfit just fell together over about a week or so starting with the really nicely done "Surrender" dress by Neve, at The Liaison Collaborative, and available in a 4 pack of either plains, or prints. I love the open drapiness of it, the lacing on the sides and the interesting back. Really perfect for so many occasions.
The next item that caught my eye is this really great "Zoya" hair that is the March group gift from Truth Hair. It's a lovely updo that has several ways to wear it as each of the bangs are separately added, and comes as a Fatpack. It costs 350L to join, but with a new pack monthly it is well worth it!

Next on my list was the "Venus" bracelet set by RealEvil Industries available at Tres Chic. Each of the different bracelets can be hidden so you can change which ones you wear at any given time. There is also a colour change menu with 6 metals, 6 leathers, and 6 accents to also add variety to your look.
To complete it, I chose [sYs]'s "Shibari" heels that will be available at Shoetopia. I fell in love with these and could not choose a colour pack, so bought the Fatpack. And it was so worth it. The shoe, and the straps each have their own colour control making it easy to mix/match. I know they will get plenty of wear from me as they will mix with so many styles of outfit, both eastern and western.

Lastly I want to mention the prop I am posing in. It is by 8f8, and as with anything by iBi it is fantastic. Called "No Place of Ours" it has been previously released in other versions, but this new release is Spring/Summer. It has poses for two people, and a couples pose as well. With a LI of just 14, it is really easy to find a spot for this.

Dragon Queen

Like I guess most people I just love dragons. So when I saw this gacha by .AiShA. at Fantasy Gacha Carnival I could not resist. It is called Dragonia, and has 3 colours, plus a gold ultrarare, and has 4 parts, plus rare head and rare legs both of which are colour change through a HUD. The one I am showing is called Drogon, and is a gorgeous red colour with gold accents. The texturing on this is fantastic, it looks like dragon scales.

The skin I am wearing is by Lumae, and is the first of her complete new range of skins. What can I say about this, it is stunning! This one is called Nightwish and is available at We <3 Role-play. (she also has a more human skintone as a group gift). It comes with almost every applier you could need both for body, and head. It also comes with the fabulous elf-ears you see here. The skin doesn't have any make-up so it makes an absolutely fabulous base skin for adding make-up to also.

The eye-shadow I am wearing is by Gret by Zibska, and is available at Uber. Appliers included are Lelutka, Catwa, plus standard tattoo. Personally, I am so pleased she now does Omega appliers so they work with my Logo head.
My hair is a great new group gift by Truth. It is a complete fatpack, and the style is fabulously versatlie.

JUMO Fairy Queen
