The Forest

Well after much unnecessary drama I finally got my computer back and working again. That it has taken over 3 months to get it 100% working, while it was still under warranty is beyond ridiculous. But we won't go there...
What I came to tell you about is a fabulous new monthly event called The Forest. It costs 1000L to join the group each month. But you are promised between 17-26 Designers every month. And if it is anything like July, that is an incredible bargain if you would wear/use most of the items. The other good thing is you can get to see what it is you will be getting before committing that 1000L. Personally I was thrilled with this month's offering with 2 full fatpacks of Appliers for Catwa heads, and the stunningly beautiful applier called "Gabriella" from Glam Affair that I am wearing here (also for Catwa). This applier comes in Polar tone only.

Also from The Forest is the lovely mid length slightly wavy hair called "Poca" that I am wearing by Pr!tty. This is also a full fatpack! Crowning the hair as a lovely counterpoint to the tones in my "Heather" dress made by Belle Epoque, and available at The Season's Story, is this gorgeous headdress (another fatpack) also at The Forest, and made by LODE, aptly called "Forest Beauty". Gracing my wrists are the delicate Faelyn bracelets by .random.Matter, again available at The Forest.
The decor is ionic's Stage-house, and Forest Speaker, and Nomad's Bright Headed Mannequins. Both are available at The Forest.

Finalising my look here is this very pretty lipstick from Zibska called Sing, and available at Shiny Shabby. The collar is by Cellar Door, and is called Dune. It comes in both unscripted, and Open Collar versions, and is available at We <3 Role-Play. Lastly is my fabulous sandals called Hyacinth, by Empire, and available at The Season's Story. And as always with their shoes, it is a fatpack.

Protected Innocence

I've always had a major love of all things fantasy dating back as long as I can remember. So every month I look forward to the new round of We <3 Role-Play. This month was absolutely NO disappointment at all.
This gorgeous, drapey, one-shoulder dress by Zenith comes with a colour-change HUD for 7 colours making it a great bargain. There is also a fabulously well-fitted leather Shoulder armour/wristguard, again by Zenith, that goes perfectly with it. Both are designed for Maitreya, but I've heard it will fit other avis, so best to try it on.
I teamed that up with these hard wearing solidly made leather boots from Wicca's Wardrobe also at We <3 Role-Play. They also have a colour-change HUD with  5 choices. I chose the plain pack, but there is also a plaid pack.

Another event that caught my eye was The Gacha Garden. Mostly because Glam Affair had a gacha for LOGO head appliers. They have covered most of their skintone range with the gacha. The "Seed of Inspiration" is the most popular tone "Jamaica", so if you are after that one, you will have to play the gacha 20 times (for a total of almost 2000L). But if you are like me and change skintone depending on what else you are wearing, or Jamaica isn't really your tone, this isn't an issue at all. And it REALLY is a lovely face.

Red Light Seductress

Took the title from the prop used, a fabulous new prop with poses by Exposeur available at Whore Couture Fair.

The skin is one of the skins on offer at The Skin Fair from Zoul Creations, called Della. And it is truly stunning! There is 10 skintones available. It comes with all the major applier types, and there is also separate packs of lips, and eyeshadow that can be purchased.

To set the mood, I chose the extremely provocative Brigitte set from Zibska, available at The Instruments. This set has a bra, undies, and dress. And like almost all of Zibska's offerings it has a colour-change HUD with 9 fabulous colours.

As there was really not much need for a lot of jewellery, I added just a fairly "simple" bracelet of gold bones, set with gold gems from Plastik, available at The Secret Affair. The bracelet comes in four styles in each pack. It is available in 3 metal shades. The nails take advantage of the new SLINK nail ability to set each nail a different polish with these two complimentary pattern sets from Nail Me!

The Gitana

This type of look pretty much encompasses not only my view of the world (in a general sense), but also stylistically one of the major influences in my RL look. It is also interesting to me, in a way, as I have often been asked (despite being almost deathly pale skinned in reality) whether I am Greek, or Spanish, and in particular if I am Gitana.

The fabulous top, and skirt drape beautifully, are available separately and are by Foxes. They come in several colours, either with a heavy gold embossing, or with a lighter one as shown here. My only small quibble with the skirt is it would have been better photography-wise if it was also textured inside. For general wear this won't be an issue at all. I paired this with this set made of hanging coins off leather cord headband, necklace, and bracelets by Izzie's (there is also earrings, not shown). These pieces all sat beautifully with little to no modification needed to get a perfect fit. I chose the gold, but there is also silver, and copper.

The skin is a lovely skin called Arabian Nights, made by Lumae. The wavy, freeflowing hair is by Tableau Vivant and is called Wicca. I went with a red/black mix to compliment the colour in the top and skirt. My nails are called "Gloriana" by Adoness. Hands and feet are by SLINK. I mention this as there is an update with quite a lot of changes available for both men's and women's SLINK components.
