Swan Lake

When I saw this stunning Feather headdress and collar by Naminoke with it's deeply chiselled feathers, and deliciously jewelled tiara, the first thing that sprung to mind was one of my all time favourite ballets - Swan Lake. Available in black or white at SaNaRae, you really don't want to miss this.

This gorgeously detailed Ballerina dress by Zenith available at Uber almost seems like it was designed to go with the Feather set with it's self coloured flowers and lace body making it a natural choice.
Another absolutely obvious choice is the Reverie leg wraps by fri. and available also at this round of Uber. I mean these fairly scream ballet to me.
The last detail I was to mention is the Mizu arm wraps by Vincue & Kibitz and available in a gacha at The Hentai Fair. I mean these were a no-brainer because they so completely match the leg wraps. The whole set is fabulous, but these arm wraps are unique as far as I can tell from my searches for similar before.

Rusted Angels cannot Fly

Trying to get a couple of quick posts in before We <3 Role-Play closes for August.
This one features EMO-tions. I first came across EMO-tions many, many moons ago when it was mostly clothes for Roleplay. I fell in love with those clothes, and bought many. I was saddened when Mirja all but stopped making clothes to concentrate on Hair, and then Jewellery. So I was absolutely over-joyed to see a new clothing release, in two versions at We <3 Role-Play.

It features a gorgeous very fitted corset in meshed metal, overlaid with metal scrollwork. The peplum is a psuedo-belt. The skirt is long and tattered looking, and is flexi. There is matching armbands, and wristbands, also made of metal scrollwork. And my personal favourite part...the stunning scrollwork wings.

The skin is by Lumae, and was blogged a couple of posts back. Really DO love this skintone.
The skeleton hand/rose head accessory is by DirtyStories, and would be perfect for Halloween coming up. Everything in it is colour-change so it's easy to match to any outfit. The necklace is by Plastik, and is a gacha item at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival. It has a colour change HUD so you can match it to your outfit also.

Azul for Lexi

Oftentimes there is fundraisers in SL for various causes, usually not for a particular person. If you have bought fashion male or female from almost anywhere then chances are you have bought something this lady has made. Lexi Zelin is the name behind a heck of a lot of full-perm mesh that is the backbone behind many designers. Recently Lexi was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hogdkin's Lymphoma, and needs desperate help to pay her medical bills. So a fundraiser was created with over 350 Designers coming together to contribute for The Lexi Project.

One of these is AZUL with this gorgeous gown in lilac. It is gathered just above the bust then flows into a  long sweeping skirt, given movement by the addition of a little flexi. A gold chain held by an ornate clasp sits loosely over the hips. There is a matching hair ornament included that quite honestly could be worn with many things.

Almost Ethereal

Fashion For Life finishes today, but I really wanted to get this simply fantastic piece from Zibska out there. It is Zib's exclusive for the event, and if you don't get it today you will miss out entirely. The jewellery pieces alone make it a must have in my mind.

Wearing it with one of La Petite Morte's fantasy line of skins. These are lovely and well worth a look if you never have before. The bright pink of the Maev eye-shadow by Zibska available at the Skin Fair(which also ends today) contrasts strongly against the monochromatic grey skin. The nails are another shade in the very excellent Smelted Fades nails set by Plastik, also at the Skin Fair.

Spring Days

For the Northern Hemisphere it is early Spring, and the fashions of the season are just starting to emerge onto the grid. This eyecatching little number from Ghee speaks loudly of Spring with the contrasting white floral pattern sweeping across the bodice and down to the hip. It is another of the exclusives for Fashion For Life, and you had better hurry if you want to get it as it closes March 29th.

Another one you had better hurry for is this gorgeous pale skin called "Rose" from Mudskin. There is 10 shades of skin in both freckle and non-freckle versions, though all tend to be pale. The skin comes with eye-shadows (not shown), moles, and lipsticks, and there are appliers available for almost any mesh body/part. But as the Skin Fair closes on the 29th, you had better rush over. The eye-shadow shown is one by Zibska called Maia, also available at the Skin Fair.
The bracelets are both by Plastik. On my right forearm is a bracelet that is a new favourite called Bonedaddy, a quirky fun bracelet made of bones, set with gems. And on my left is Detora, also made of bone, and set with tiny chains, and a crystal. Both are available at The Secret Affair.

Finishing my look is this chain and gem necklace from Zibska. Both chains, and gems are colour changeable through the HUD. The hair is an older Tableau Vivant one that is perfect for Spring with it's built on hat.

My hair is by booN, and I'm not usually a fan of dread styles, but OMG I love this!  I think this would have to be the best dread style hair I have seen in SL to date (at least in my opinion).

The Fool

I have to admit this post has taken me almost 5 days to put together. I had such a clear vision of what look I wanted. But finding the pieces to make that look come about turned out to be an exercise in mostly frustration with not being able to find half the pieces I wanted. The same went with the photos. So all in all everything turned out quite different than what I had envisioned.

So, first up is the dress, eye make-up, and hat (used here as a prop) that are Zibska's offering for the "Create Your Own Tarot" event, which this month features the fool. Just love this dress, it's fun, and flirty. And will be easily matched in with many other items in your wardrobe for a lot of different looks. From the same event is the pose used here by Roquais. This is one of the prizes in the gacha that features 9 different poses, a "tarot" card, and the style card for that look.

The skin is another in the fabulous fantasy skinline Immortalia line at the Skin Fair by Plastik called Thana.  A very pale offering that is excellent for the vampire in you. As with the others, it comes with make-ups, eyes, and many brow options. There is also appliers for just about anything available as well (seperate)
The lipstick is also from the Skin Fair and is by Zoul Creations for their skin range "Gina"
These fabulously embroidered and detailed bracelets are by [sYs] and are available from SOU by Creation.jp.

Red Light Seductress

Took the title from the prop used, a fabulous new prop with poses by Exposeur available at Whore Couture Fair.

The skin is one of the skins on offer at The Skin Fair from Zoul Creations, called Della. And it is truly stunning! There is 10 skintones available. It comes with all the major applier types, and there is also separate packs of lips, and eyeshadow that can be purchased.

To set the mood, I chose the extremely provocative Brigitte set from Zibska, available at The Instruments. This set has a bra, undies, and dress. And like almost all of Zibska's offerings it has a colour-change HUD with 9 fabulous colours.

As there was really not much need for a lot of jewellery, I added just a fairly "simple" bracelet of gold bones, set with gold gems from Plastik, available at The Secret Affair. The bracelet comes in four styles in each pack. It is available in 3 metal shades. The nails take advantage of the new SLINK nail ability to set each nail a different polish with these two complimentary pattern sets from Nail Me!

Anyone that knows me in SL, knows I am a skin addict. I have more skins than I could ever wear even if I changed skin twice a day for 3 years. And that doesn't include my old skins.... So I am absolutely thrilled to be blogging Plastik skins from the Skin Fair!

Just a note if you intend to visit the Skin Fair, there is a VERY strict 50 script limit in place to try to limit lag and give everyone a fair shopping experience.

Plastik is one of those shops that while I don't shop there every day, or even every week, I have quite a collection over the years. If you have never been there, then you really should do yourself a shopping favour and pay a visit.
The skin/s (male and female on offer at the Fair) are fabulous. Called "Immortalia" they are perfect for many fantasy settings. In the pack you get a collection of eyes, make-ups, freckles, and a whole lot of brow options. They come in 20 shades, and there is appliers for almost any mesh body part add-on you can think of (bought separately).

This very sexy Adrianna lingerie seen here is new from Zibska, comes in 6 colours, and is for mesh bodies Maitreya, Bella, and TMP, as well as the standard SL body, and is available at her shop. The horns shown are available at We <3 Role-Play and come in 30 different shades with a HUD to colour change the cord. These awesome nails are from Flair, have several colours in the HUD and are for Maitreya hands/feet.
