Lumae at Skin Fair 2016

 One thing anyone that knows me can tell you is I am a skin addict. But only with certain brands. One of those brands is Lumae, whom I was lucky enough to become an official blogger for.

Recently Lumiya retired her older skin collection and completely started again on creating a new skin. Just recently she started releasing them one by one. Her first major release of her new range of human coloured skins is called Eirtae, and is at Skin Fair 2016, and it is stunning.

The list of what is included in the skins is almost as impressive as the new Eirtae Bare skin is. This is what is included: System Skins for use with default avatar, 3 Cleavage options, a full-body freckle option, between 4-6 eyebrow options (depending on skin tone). Body Appliers - Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, Omega, TMP. Head Appliers - Lelutka, Slink, Omega, LOGO, Catwa. Moth Appliers - Loud Mouth, Nyam, Nyam, Sweetlips, Soul. There is also Leevi ears in 3 lengths in matching skintones, Soul Ears appliers, and a modifyiable shape.

Being a bare skin it is just perfect for the base to add make-ups on. So with all that is included in the pack, plus the fact that the skins are just half price for the duration of the Skin Fair, it is a bargain you honestly cannot afford to miss. To show just how beautiful this skin is, I am showing it here on LOGO Alex with no make-up.

Priestess of the Unicorn

The second part of my post on these Unicorns by Half-Deer at The Arcade. This time using them in black.
First item I wanted to mention is this standout "Gabriel" dress from Cila. The one I have on is one of the rares from the gacha at SaNaRae. There is plenty of colours, most of which are commons, so getting the dress itself is easy.
Next up is the Unicorn Head by Enfant Terrible. Another rare from a gacha, this time at The Arcade. There is some great stuff in this machine, so you should be pretty happy even if you don't get the head.

The fabulous hair being worn here is "Leni" by EMO-tions. It is absolutely beautiful with it's very long flowing locks, and flattering forehead braids, and is available at We <3 Role-Play.
My legwraps are called "Reverie" and are by fri. and available at Uber.
I really want to mention this stunning new skin by DeeTaleZ available at Skin Fair called "Kemina" and is for LOGO heads. I'll be doing a feature on the skin itself in another post. To say I am in love with this skin is an understatement. Lastly, also at Skin Fair is the eyeliner by Izzie's, and again for LOGO heads.

The Dream

A quick post for the J & A Expo. This one features the amazing creative talents of Zibska. I've used her fantastically avant garde Etsuko collar and headpiece set. As with most of her products it comes with a colour change HUD, with 3 zones of control. So you can do 3 colours like I have, or all in one colour if you wish.

Searching

Another post for the J & A Expo, this time featuring Wicca's Wardrobe. I love this Kosmima headpiece by Wicca, mostly because it is so adaptable. You can wear it for so many situations and match it to many outfits and looks with the colour change HUD. When I saw the new Vivian skirt and top also by Wicca's Wardrobe, available at We <3 Role-Play I knew exactly how I wanted to style both the headpiece and the skirt/top.

Swan Lake

When I saw this stunning Feather headdress and collar by Naminoke with it's deeply chiselled feathers, and deliciously jewelled tiara, the first thing that sprung to mind was one of my all time favourite ballets - Swan Lake. Available in black or white at SaNaRae, you really don't want to miss this.

This gorgeously detailed Ballerina dress by Zenith available at Uber almost seems like it was designed to go with the Feather set with it's self coloured flowers and lace body making it a natural choice.
Another absolutely obvious choice is the Reverie leg wraps by fri. and available also at this round of Uber. I mean these fairly scream ballet to me.
The last detail I was to mention is the Mizu arm wraps by Vincue & Kibitz and available in a gacha at The Hentai Fair. I mean these were a no-brainer because they so completely match the leg wraps. The whole set is fabulous, but these arm wraps are unique as far as I can tell from my searches for similar before.

The Lady Amalthea

One of my all time movie faves is "The Last Unicorn". So I was absolutely delighted when it was the chosen theme for this round of Enchantment.
The dress I am wearing is by !gO! and is actually from this round of The Fantasy Gacha Carnival, though it fits the Last Unicorn theme extremely well. It is a gorgeous dress that is equally at home with roleplay as it is with being a lovely summer dress you can wear almost anywhere. There is two versions, sheer, and not sheer. The "chains" around it also come in two metals, gold, and silver.

I am wearing it here with part of the fabulous "Unicorn" set by Naminoke available at Enchantment. The set comprises a very pretty, and feminine floral head wreath of daisies and roses in white, a forehead chain and flower ornament, a forehead chain and horn combination (not shown), and a necklace (not shown). The matching bracelets are the Hunt gift for the event.

Lastly, but certainly not least in any way is the Amalthea skin by Lumae, also for Enchantment. It is part of her new Eirtae skin range, and really is absolutely beautiful. It comes with almost any applier you could ask for, which is fabulous because you don't then have to go pay more to get the extras. I am wearing it here on the Alex head by LOGO.

Protected Innocence

I've always had a major love of all things fantasy dating back as long as I can remember. So every month I look forward to the new round of We <3 Role-Play. This month was absolutely NO disappointment at all.
This gorgeous, drapey, one-shoulder dress by Zenith comes with a colour-change HUD for 7 colours making it a great bargain. There is also a fabulously well-fitted leather Shoulder armour/wristguard, again by Zenith, that goes perfectly with it. Both are designed for Maitreya, but I've heard it will fit other avis, so best to try it on.
I teamed that up with these hard wearing solidly made leather boots from Wicca's Wardrobe also at We <3 Role-Play. They also have a colour-change HUD with  5 choices. I chose the plain pack, but there is also a plaid pack.

Another event that caught my eye was The Gacha Garden. Mostly because Glam Affair had a gacha for LOGO head appliers. They have covered most of their skintone range with the gacha. The "Seed of Inspiration" is the most popular tone "Jamaica", so if you are after that one, you will have to play the gacha 20 times (for a total of almost 2000L). But if you are like me and change skintone depending on what else you are wearing, or Jamaica isn't really your tone, this isn't an issue at all. And it REALLY is a lovely face.

Did this styling a few days ago hoping to get it blogged sooner, but RL got in the way and the event where some of this was at ended. Hopefully the designers will have the items in their shops in the very near future.

Now I have to say that I love this look and find it utterly sexy. So does my partner.
The most recent round of ROMP brought us some very sexy clothes like this top and skirt here from [Decoy]. Made for Maitreya and SLINK bodies both pieces fit perfectly. The bra part is leather and lace done in such a way as to cover what is needed, leaving the lower breast uncovered and offering the perfect tease as to what is covered. This is pulled together in a leather strapped harness.The leather and lace skirt is slightly flounced, flowing down from the lace waist insert.

The face harness and kitty ears are from a hair by +Spellbound+ that was also at ROMP. The hairstyle is not shown here as it didn't really go with the look, but the face harness (or bridle) work perfectly matching the harness on the top. It has several colours of leather and 4 metals so you can make it work with almost anything.
I paired it with the Exile hair currently available at Collabor88. This slightly messy piled updo with it's long strands of loose hair framing the face and leading the eye down the body somewhat gives a very sultry look that works well with the face harness.

Adding to the sensuality of the look I've use the lower horns from the fabulous new horn set by Zibska available at The Secret Affair.  These are metallic and come with a HUD to change the colour/s (they are able to be 2 toned). There is also a larger top horn that curves down (not shown) in this set.
The leather gloves and rings set by RealEvil Industries at this round of Shiny Shabby again echoes the harness straps. The glove, the bow and the rings are all colour change, and the rings can be either hidden entirely or one at a time.

Winter Sweet Snow Princess

Been a while since I blogged, had a bunch of stuff happen in RL that kept me away from SL, but I'm back now, so none of that matters. And I'm here to show you a few things not to be missed IMO.

I have a couple of items I really love from Naminoke here.
First is the kimono. This is simply stunning. Quite honestly my photo does not even approach doing this justice. The way it sits, the way it flows rippling behind as you move. Just everything about it is stunning.

Second is the hair sticks, and matching earrings. These are a limited edition from Project Limited. You may think, well they are only really good for wearing with japanese style outfits. Not at all. I've been wearing them around while dressed in a very western, very risqué black leather outfit, with a messy style updo, and they look great with that also. So don't miss these!

The last thing I wanted to mention was my LOGO head. I bought this a little while back during a fleeting visit, and have not regretted it at all. These use either LOGO's own skin, make-up, etc or Omega Advanced. While there really could be more support from designers in the way of skins, and make-ups, there is still a pretty good range out there now.

She likes long walks in the country

With Spring just around the corner, it's a perfect time to stock up on clothes for those not so cold days and head out to enjoy the fresh bloom of nature. If you're on the other side of the world, well this dress would do just as well on one of those cooler days.
This lovely dress by Evie's Closet with it's self patterning in two tones, celtic patterns on the bodice and top of the skirt, and bell sleeves is  such a dress. It's available in 5 colours: Sky, Sand, Lilac (shown here), Gold and Blush. It's available at We <3 Role-Play .

What better to go with a lovely long sweeping dress than a beautiful long sweeping hairstyle? This one by RunAway Design is perfect with it's arched, sweeping fringe that frames the face, small tress of hair that falls over the right shoulder, and the remaining hair being swept across and over the left shoulder, over the left breast to finish just below the waist. It's a super flattering style that is easy adapted for many uses. Also available for 25% off at We <3 Role-Play .

Completing our look here is this beautiful eyeshadow from Zibska, just part of the HUGE offering she has at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair for LeLutka, and TMP mesh heads. Standard system eyeshadows are included in all packs. This lovely delicate necklace/earring set with it's curlicues, and beads really compliments the celtic design on the dress perfectly. And the beaded choker from a different set gives a nice highlight at the neck. Both sets are multi-colour change as we expect with Zibska.

Azul for Lexi

Oftentimes there is fundraisers in SL for various causes, usually not for a particular person. If you have bought fashion male or female from almost anywhere then chances are you have bought something this lady has made. Lexi Zelin is the name behind a heck of a lot of full-perm mesh that is the backbone behind many designers. Recently Lexi was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hogdkin's Lymphoma, and needs desperate help to pay her medical bills. So a fundraiser was created with over 350 Designers coming together to contribute for The Lexi Project.

One of these is AZUL with this gorgeous gown in lilac. It is gathered just above the bust then flows into a  long sweeping skirt, given movement by the addition of a little flexi. A gold chain held by an ornate clasp sits loosely over the hips. There is a matching hair ornament included that quite honestly could be worn with many things.
