Heart of Desire(e)

The second Zibska post is this fabulous dress and hat called Desiree. There is three colour choices - Noir, Gold, and Berry. I chose Berry. I just love this, it epitomises so much about Zib's whimsical style. The skirt is completely made up of lots of "leafs" on stalks. The hat is simple and stylish, and has matching "leafs". Several rows of studs adorn the bodice top at the front to complete the look of the dress.

To give a stylish look I added long SLINK enabled gloves from Purple Moon, an almost 40's style hair from Amacci, and some pearl drop earrings by Maxi Gossamer.

Finished it off with just over-the-knee boots by Kitties Lair, and added an almost matching eyeshadow, also by Madrid Solo. By the way Zibska are having a sale right at the moment with a bunch of stuff at just $50L.

Roses are Red

This is the first of two posts I am doing on Zibska's offerings for the "Love is in the Air" event. This event will end at the end of this month (28th February), so you only have a few more days to get there if you haven't. Or go back and grab some more fabulous fashions if you already have.
I've been a huge fan of Zibska for quite a while now, and this dress is no exception. It is a simple short sheath type dress that is lifted to another level with the fabulous "petals" that float out at the shoulder, and are gathered together on one side. It is available in Gold, Noir, and Sangue (which I chose).

For hair I added D!va's really pretty must-have offering for the same event. Love that bow in the centre of the hair! Boots are from the thigh-highs by Maitreya at this month's Collabor88 and are an absolute steal at that price.

Jewellery is ISON's amazing new necklace, again from this month's Collabor88, Lazuri earrings, and Maxi Gossamer bracelets, and rings. The eyes are these fabulous mesh eyes I have been wearing lately from Miamai. They have so many options on the HUD that it is like new eyes every day if you so choose.

Everything is Black and White

It has been absolute craziness with the weather. Here in Victoria, Australia we have had a heatwave with day after day of high 30's or even low 40's C. (That's roughly 95 - 107 F for those that use the farenheit scale). With this has come bushfires, lots of them. Right across the state. Thankfully though there has been no loss of human life, and our Firefighters have worked miracles. I can't help but contrast that with the insane cold the US has been having, with snowfalls in places that usually never see snow in any quantity. And over in the UK they are virtually under water with the horrendous storms and all the rain they have been getting.
Black and white combinations, and stripes are some of my favourite design choices. I love the stark boldness that black and white give. So when I saw these black/white striped bloomer shorts from The Secret Store, and the white crop jacket with black ridges on the upper arms, also from The Secret Store, I knew I had to have them and put something together from them. Also a major sucker for crop jackets.

Wasn't really sure which way I wanted to go with this outfit, so experimented with a few ideas, none of which felt right. Then I decided to have a look at the Dressing Room Fusion, and saw this really cool hair with a spiky top, and plaits at the sides pulled back into a little ponytail. from Loq. That was it, that was the look I had wanted. So now it was time to accessorise. First thing was sunglasses. I wanted ones that spoke style. These ones from Glam Affair were perfect. Next up was jewellery. I'd already decided to wear one of my favourite necklaces in this one from Amorous. For earrings and bracelets I went to who else but Finesmith. The group gift from July last year was perfect. Next was nails, I went with the black and white nails by Nailed it. And then finally boots. I think I went through half my inventory worth of boots looking for just the right ones. These boots from Fri. were just the thing.




 Last thing I wanted to show was this fabulously cute dog (bulldog?) by Birdy. The jacket the dog wears is colour changeable through a HUD. A total must have for anyone into cute wearables.

Lovely in Lace

A couple of days late getting this post out due to migraine. So if you like the Fur stole you only have today to run and grab it. Sorry.
I have to admit I am a romantic, and just adore lace. So this dress at Collabor88 by Maitreya was an absolute must-have for me. I bought it in 2 shades, but am showing just the black here. It's a long fitted sheath dress that can be worn by itself, or as I have with the long lace overdress designed to go over the top. To give it a slightly individual touch I then added this gorgeous Fur stole with an oversized colour change bow by Adore & Abhor. And as an accent I added the huge flower style hat by Bliss at the waist.

The hair I chose is Locuala by D!va, also from Collabor88, with the Bliss hat Reemany to give a fabulous formal look. This new jewellery set with big bold square cut gems by Lazuri, and shoes with red accents at the back of the heels (all components of these shoes have a colour change option) by Gos complete the look.

Rock chic

Sorry for the prolonged absence, my health totally collapsed late last year and ended up seriously ill for just on three months. But I'm back and just had to share this fabulous look.

Like half the grid I tried desperately to get into Project Limited when it opened on January 17th. I had my sights firmly set on a beautifully ornate Limited Edition leather jacket by Lapointe & Bastchilde. Anyone that has been around the grid and knows designers fairly well knows that Lapointe & Bastchilde is synonymous with quality. Finally got in, and braved the horrible lag and a sim restart to find the jacket. There was a demo, but that didn't seem to be working for the women's version. Ummed and arred for a few minutes whether to take the chance on the $699L pricetag or not. Really was a no brainer in the end given the designers name. The jacket has 3 different "patterns' and also comes with the tank top add-on in 6 "patterns". Sadly though this was limited to just 100 copies and is now sold out.

While there I also came across the cute unicorn horn from Panik that I'm wearing. It comes in a variety of colours, with 3 different metals in a pack. To show off the horn and go with the jacket needed a hair that was short, sassy, and centre-parted. This hair by Tableau Vivant was perfect. A fresh heart and metal style necklace by Amorous completed the top half.

Next was to find a skirt that would give the right feel of glam while keeping in style with the tough look of the jacket. This silver skirt by "r2 A/D/E" was just the thing. Last off was the thigh high boots from Beetlebones. Now I was ready to hit the streets in search of some great music.

Summer Flowers

Well originally I did this post as this pretty dress/socks found their way by accident into the Fashion Limited Blogger group. After asking the creator (because I could not find the outfit at Fashion Limited), I got the reply that it was sent by accident. Not one to waste a photo I have worked on, I'm going ahead with the post.
Summer is a time for long balmy days, gentle winds, and summer flowers. And where better to have your flowers than on your clothes? This sexy, semi baby-doll dress with matching socks from Countdown is perfect for the cooler summer days relaxing with friends. Or going for walks amongst the trees and grass.

Seen here teamed up with hair from Ploom, earrings and bracelets from Lazuri, and tiara from Finesmith it makes a pretty summer addition to any wardrobe.

August Queen

Another break from blogging.....this time due to several reasons, but hopefully the main one - been unable to take any decent photos on the new Firestorm, they all come out blurred - has been resolved. *cross fingers*


I'm bringing you a preview of a jewellery set from Finesmith I just fell in love with at first sight. That it is *pink* and silver had a lot to do with it. This set consists of earrings, tiara/diadem, and bracelet. The bracelet is copyable so you can add it to the other wrist as I have done here if you wish. It is a fabulous mix of delicate - with the wispy silver threads, and bold - with the bright pink "leaves".
Oh and the BEST thing......it is FREE! Yep, this gorgeous set is the new Finesmith Group gift. It will be released Thursday.
