Lady In Red

There has been so many great new releases lately that putting together outfits is more a case of "oh gosh how do I fit all this stuff together", rather than "ughs, what will I wear with this?"
Take this outfit for example, nearly all of it has been a new release within the last 1-3 weeks.
The first thing that grabbed me was this dress from The Secret Store at FaMESHed. The simple style with a self-contrast stripe and peter-pan collar really caught my eye.

Then there was this hair from LoQ. Didn't even need to try this one on because it was SO me that I would make it fit! Love the way the hair is styled into a hat at the front, and pulled back into a bun at the back. Next find was these earrings from SoliDea FoliEs. They were just the perfect shade of red for the hair and dress.

All that was needed was some boots, bracelets, a bag maybe, and some tights to pull the outfit together.

A Touch of Garden

Anyone that knows me well enough in SecondLife knows I am a huge fan of World's End Garden. So when a notice came through the group looking for a blogger I jumped at the chance. Lucia had just released a new set of 3 mesh dresses called Primavera. There is also some new Primavera hair accessories in a Gacha which are transferable so you can give away doubles, or swap with friends.


I love these fresh looking dresses with their floral skirts after all the coats and dark colours in SecondLife the last couple of months.


Just perfect for a day out in the country amongst nature, or even dress it up a little with a bolero for a romantic evening out.

Purple Glam

I love purple. So when I saw this Glam outfit with a touch of baroque by Gizza at Fashion Limited it was a must buy for me. Everything about this little dress is just perfect for a night out, guaranteeing you will be turning heads.

Included with the dress is matching boots. Not really a fan of the current spike trend, but on these it really works, and suits the boots with their highly sequined baroque styling. I didn't have any jewellery that suited the dress, so picked up this lovely set from Lazuri. Added make-up by the fabulous Madrid Solo, and lipstick by Izzie's, and this clutch by Old & New finished the look.

The Laird

My friend Demo has wanted to contribute some of his stylings to the blog for quite a while. But like many guys he's a man of few words. He just wanted some pics taken with him in an outfit, and me to put down what he's wearing.

Red and Blue

Got the notice about the new group gift from DIRAM the other day, and raced over there to grab it. Just love their clothes!
Putting it on wasn't disappointed .....not that I would ever expect to be. The shape of the Jacket is lovely with it's flowing front, falling into a scallop at the back.

What to wear it with, that was the big question.
Tried out a few different looks, and finally settled on this new glitter dress from Blacklace. BAX are having a sale on their booties right now which was perfect timing to go pick up the bed suede boots. And being that it was Thursday, Finesmith's 55L special was the fabulous ruby and gold jewellery I am wearing to complete the look.

The skin I chose is from the fabulous skin line that Glam Affair and Dead Apples collaborated on. These skins are just to die for. My only wish is that they would do the same make-ups but in a darker skin-tone. Then I could have the best of both worlds :D

Pink Brocade

Anyone who knows me, knows I adore pink, even more when it is mixed with black.
So this jacket made me squee quite a bit inside and of course was a must have!

I picked a subdued sea green from the colours in the brocade for an undershirt, then black pants with an added frill for interest. Jewellery picks up the gold in the jacket and again the black  for simple elegance. Add a lovely bright pink on lips and nails and we are ready to go.

Been away a while......

I'm slowly easing my way back into life in SL. It's been a long and painful process.

After my partner of 4 years and I broke up it was hard to find a reason to log into SL at all. I've always been a fairly private person with only a small circle of friends, most of whom no longer log in to SL.
After my suicide attempt, I drifted through mostly dead to everything for a few weeks, then went into a Depressive breakdown. Probably the best thing I could have done really. For 3-4 weeks, I just cried pretty much 24/7 with naps inbetween. I cried the tears I had never been able to cry for many things for fear that once I started crying I would never stop. Well....the crying does stop. The sun does eventually shine again, even if only for a few moments.

So now I am slowly easing my way back into SL again.
